How to use a stamping guide + make your own decals

Hi, those of you who follow me on instagram have already seen this (except for the making decals part). But I wanted to share it here too😊


I bought these stamping guide/stencils from Born Pretty Store – you can find them here - I came over them by accident and had no idea that something like this existed, so I was amazed!!!




I bought the pattern "002" and "003". But there are also two others in the collection.



They are really easy and fun to use, and they have so many possibilities. First I'm going to show you how to use them with a stamping plate.


To show you the "002" guide, I decided to make a little heart💙 Just imagine all the patterns you can use with these!


And the "003" guide. Which I think would be really cool to try a creative french mani with.

I also tested out how to make your own decals, which I saw a fellow instafriend do @mkupfnds

The steps are these:
1. Place the guide over the stamper
2. Paint it in with a polish - let it dry -
3. Top coat it - let it dry -
4. Pick it up with a tweezer
And there you go, your very own decal ready to be placed on your nail! Just add top coat on the nail before placing it.

How to shrink a stamping image

Hi everyone! I wanna share with you a post that I already shared on my instagram a while back. How to shrink a stamping image! It's something that I've struggled with a lot😅 When I got a dual stamper a year ago, I discovered that one could actually shrink an image *mind blown* So I tried...and failed...and tried again...and I just couldn't get it right. So I gave up😇 But last month I tried again, and I did it!!! I actually DID IT!!! And that's why I decided to make a tutorial. So that you can see that it's actually easy, and don't give up like I did... Here you can see the difference between the original size and the shrinked image. I really like this, especially with the plates that have faces, since the whole image will fit on the nail😍 This is the dual stamper that I use from Born Pretty Store.
