Hi, since this is my first post, I thought I would introduce myself! My name is Sunniva, and I'm from Norway, though I'm also half Spanish. So, feel free to post in any of those languages😊 I have a bachelor’s degree in law and administration and I’ve studied fashion and production.

I started doing nail art in 2013, but I had a one-year break in 2015. Started doing some manis from time to time, and then it exploded when I created an instagram @sunnipolish last year for my nail art.

My favorite technique must be freehand, because you get to create whatever pops in your mind, and it pushes your inspiration. But I do love stamping. Never thought I would though, because I struggled with it A LOT, but now reversed stamping is so fun!

Been thinking about starting a blog for a while now and can't really believe that I finally have. My plan is to share nail art (obviously), but also more tips, tutorials, swatches and nail hauls. I'm thinking I'll post every sunday, but will skip that rule for now, since I have a few posts I want to post from my instagram.

I'm not a certified nail technician, just self-taught and still learning. So for me nail art is a hobby that I want to share. And hopefully you'll enjoy it too💕

Here's the first owl mani I did back in 2013. And a more recent freehand of the mad hatter, so you can see the progress over the years. (Hopefully there is some😅)

Hi everyone! I was so sad when I heard that Stan Lee had passed away😢 I love the world and characters he created, and to see his little cameos in the movies was the best! How to use a stamping guide + make your own decals

Hi, those of you who follow me on instagram have already seen this (except for the making decals part). But I wanted to share it here too😊 I bought these stamping guide/stencils from Born Pretty Store – you can find them here - I came over them by accident and had no idea that something like this existed, so I was amazed!!! I bought the pattern "002" and "003". But there are also two others in the collection. They are really easy and fun to use, and they have so many possibilities. First I'm going to show you how to use them with a stamping plate. To show you the "002" guide, I decided to make a little heart💙 Just imagine all the patterns you can use with these! Hi everyone! I wanna share with you a post that I already shared on my instagram a while back. How to shrink a stamping image! It's something that I've struggled with a lot😅 When I got a dual stamper a year ago, I discovered that one could actually shrink an image *mind blown* So I tried...and failed...and tried again...and I just couldn't get it right. So I gave up😇 But last month I tried again, and I did it!!! I actually DID IT!!! And that's why I decided to make a tutorial. So that you can see that it's actually easy, and don't give up like I did... Here you can see the difference between the original size and the shrinked image. I really like this, especially with the plates that have faces, since the whole image will fit on the nail😍 This is the dual stamper that I use from Born Pretty Store.
