Spider-Man | Step by step tutorial

Hi everyone!

 I was so sad when I heard that Stan Lee had passed away😢 I love the world and characters he created, and to see his little cameos in the movies was the best! Been wanting to do a Spider-Man mani for a while, so I finally decided to do them.

As I said before, freehand manis are my favorites. And this time I actually made a step by step tutorial. I think that it's better than to film them, so you can see the details better if you want to follow it.

Below are more close-ups and tips.
1. This is the first time I tried this out. And I think it's why the design improved a lot! I drew the sketch with a pen, and it just made it so much easier to paint over. Though I think I'll switch to a lighter pen, because this got pretty dark😅

2. Then I drew in the outlines with red, and started to fill in the mask.

3. Fill in the rest of spidey.

4. I then added the outline of the eyes, and tried to make a shadow effect.

5. I then started with the blue.

6. Tried to highlight the blue around the edges. 

7. Then it was time to start with the web. Try to do it with thin strokes... but as you can see I messed up with two lines in the head. So I fixed it by painting over with red.

8. After I painted over the two lines with red.

9. Finishing the web up.

10. I decided to outline the entire spidey.

11. Add top-coat to even everything out and finish it up!!

How to shrink a stamping image

Hi everyone! I wanna share with you a post that I already shared on my instagram a while back. How to shrink a stamping image! It's something that I've struggled with a lot😅 When I got a dual stamper a year ago, I discovered that one could actually shrink an image *mind blown* So I tried...and failed...and tried again...and I just couldn't get it right. So I gave up😇 But last month I tried again, and I did it!!! I actually DID IT!!! And that's why I decided to make a tutorial. So that you can see that it's actually easy, and don't give up like I did... Here you can see the difference between the original size and the shrinked image. I really like this, especially with the plates that have faces, since the whole image will fit on the nail😍 This is the dual stamper that I use from Born Pretty Store.
